Stardew Valley How To Move Chest

The Chest is a craftable storage item that holds upwardly to 36 unlike types of items. You can stack a maximum of 999 identical items into a single slot. Items do not decompose in chests.
Chests tin be left in many different places in Stardew Valley. All the same, if a chest is left on a walking pathway for a villager it will disappear, and its contents dropped.
An empty breast can exist picked up and returned to inventory by hitting it with any tool, or hitting repeatedly with an empty mitt. Chests with whatsoever items inside cannot be picked up until emptied; however if a filled chest is striking repeatedly with merely an empty mitt, it will be pushed one tile away from the player (note that tools will not work for pushing). If that tile is not valid for item placement, the chest can jump to the nearest acceptable tile, such as behind the player, to a diagonally adjacent tile, or over other items to a valid one.
Coloring
When opened, chests take a color bar higher up their inventory window which allows players to select a different color for the chest. This can exist changed at someday without toll. There are 20 colors available to select in the color picker, plus the original brown color.

Chests outside the farm
It is possible to identify chests and other crafted items outside the farm. Chests are useful for storing gifts close to the homes of Villagers who adopt them or to permit additional storage when Mining, Fishing, or Foraging. Worm Bins tin can be placed near fishing spots, Furnaces can be placed at the entrance to The Mines, and entire sections of the Valley may be utilized for Keg or Preserves Jar processing. Common Copse can be planted in tillable soil and tapped.
If a villager walks through the foursquare where a crafted item was placed, the item will exist destroyed. Below are player-created maps to bespeak which tiles on the map are prophylactic from villager-pathing. The tiles with the Rotten Found should be rubber.

Notation that items placed on the docks at the embankment may be destroyed past villagers during the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, or by Emily if married to her. The image beneath is authentic for players who do not attend the festival and don't marry Emily.

Note that the game uses a unique embankment map during festival days, and then items a actor has placed on the Beach (Crab Pots, Chests, etc.) may disappear during the Night Market. These items should render on Winter 18.
